Monesize’s main product thesis is built around a straightforward idea: businesses should not have to work around their software. The tools an organization uses to run its operations should work together, share context where it matters, and stay out of the way everywhere else. That principle has shaped every product in the Monesize ecosystem, from Core’s connected finance and operations layer, to Engage’s sales engine, to Desk’s structured support system.
Today, we are introducing Monesize Gateway. It is the identity and organizational control layer that connects every Monesize product your business uses into one coherent environment.
The Problem Gateway Solves
As organizations adopt more business software, a quiet operational burden grows alongside it. Every tool has its own accounts. Every system manages its own users. When a new employee joins, someone works through a checklist of platforms to provision access. When that employee leaves, someone works through the same checklist in reverse, hoping nothing gets missed.
This is not a problem that belongs to any single tool. It is a structural consequence of running disconnected systems that have no awareness of each other. Each one knows who belongs to it, but none of them know who belongs to the organization.
The consequences are real. Access credentials accumulate across platforms. A former employee’s account in one system remains active because it was not on the offboarding checklist. An administrator trying to understand who has access to what must open each system individually and piece together a picture from separate sources.
Organizations that use multiple Monesize products have, until now, faced a version of this same problem. Monesize Core, Monesize Engage, and Monesize Desk each serve a distinct operational function. Each is independently deployable and independently useful. But without a shared identity layer, each product maintained its own users, its own accounts, and its own access relationships. The organizational knowledge of who belongs to the business existed separately in each system rather than in one authoritative place.
Monesize Gateway is the answer to that problem.
What Monesize Gateway Is
Monesize Gateway is the identity, organization, and access control layer for the Monesize ecosystem. It does three things.
It provides one Monesize identity for every person. A person creates a single Monesize account at Gateway. That account becomes their identity across every Monesize product. When they sign into Monesize Desk, Monesize Engage, or any other Monesize product, they can use their Monesize account. There is no separate registration, no separate credential to remember, and no separate account to manage per product. One identity. Every product.
It gives organizations a central place to manage their people. An organization creates a Gateway organization account and connects it to the Monesize products and tenants it uses. Members are added to the organization centrally. When a new person joins the business, they are added to the organization at Gateway and provisioned into the relevant products from there. The organization’s membership is managed in one place, not scattered across separate systems.
It makes offboarding instant and complete. When a person leaves the organization, an administrator removes them from the Gateway organization once. That single action propagates immediately to every connected Monesize product and tenant. There is no checklist. There is no product-by-product manual removal. The organizational relationship is severed in one operation, and access is revoked everywhere it exists.
How Monesize Gateway Works
One Identity Across the Ecosystem
Every person who uses Monesize products can create a Monesize account at Gateway. This account is the person’s canonical identity within the Monesize ecosystem. It is not a replacement for the account they hold within any individual product. It is the layer above those accounts that connects them.
When a person signs into Monesize Engage or Monesize Desk using their Monesize account, Gateway authenticates them and passes their verified identity to the product. If the person already has an account in that product, they are signed in. If they do not, an account is created for them automatically using the details from their Gateway identity. The product retains its own user record and its own permission model. Gateway handles who the person is. Each product handles what they are allowed to do.
This distinction matters. Gateway is an identity and access layer, not a permissions engine. The authorization model of each product remains exactly where it belongs: inside the product, governed by the product’s own logic, role structure, and business rules.
Organizations as a First-Class Concept
In Monesize Gateway, an organization is not simply a property attached to a product account. It is an independent entity with its own identity, its own membership, and its own relationship with the Monesize products it uses.
An organization registers itself with Gateway once. It then connects its Monesize products and tenants to that organizational identity. From that point, the organization has a single place to understand and manage its entire Monesize environment: who belongs to the organization, which products and tenants are connected, and how organizational membership maps to access across those products.
This model is significant because the organization exists independently of any particular product. A business that uses Engage today and adopts Desk and Core later does not need to rebuild its identity model each time. The organizational identity in Gateway remains consistent as the product footprint grows. Members added to the organization have a stable relationship with it that does not depend on which products happen to be in use at any given time.
Connecting Tenants Across Products
Monesize products are independently deployable. Monesize Core, for example, is a single-tenant platform: each organization operates its own dedicated Core environment. Monesize Engage and Monesize Desk are multi-tenant products in which organizations operate as tenants within a shared platform.
Gateway is designed to accommodate this diversity. A Gateway organization can link tenants across all Monesize products regardless of their deployment model. A business might link two Core tenants serving different legal entities, an Engage tenant for its sales team, and a Desk tenant for its support operation, all under one Gateway organization. Gateway understands the organizational relationship between those tenants without making assumptions about their internal data, business logic, or permission structures.
The existence of that organizational relationship does not grant users automatic access to every linked tenant. Each product retains full authority over who can access its tenants and what they can do there. Gateway establishes the organizational relationship. The products enforce the access.
Centralized Member Lifecycle
When an employee joins an organization using Monesize Gateway, the organization can establish that person’s membership at Gateway and grant them access to the relevant connected products from one place. When the employee’s role changes, product-level permissions can be updated without touching the underlying organizational membership. When the employee leaves, removing them from the Gateway organization triggers immediate revocation across every connected Monesize product and tenant.
This is what makes the offboarding case so significant. Today, removing a person’s access from multiple business systems requires touching each system individually, often in sequence, sometimes relying on documentation or memory to ensure nothing is missed. Gateway makes that operation a single administrative action with a complete and verifiable outcome. The audit trail records every revocation, including which products were notified, so the organization has a durable record of what happened and when.
Why This Matters for Enterprises
Enterprise organizations operate at a scale and with a governance standard where fragmented identity management is not just inconvenient. It is a compliance risk, a security risk, and an operational liability.
The cost of a former employee retaining active access to a business system is not theoretical. It is a documented category of data breach and insider threat. The cost of provisioning a new employee across six separate systems is not a minor inconvenience. It is real administrative time, repeated across every new hire, every role change, and every departure.
Monesize Gateway is designed specifically to address these operational realities. The centralized lifecycle model means that organizational events, a new hire, a departure, a role change, are handled at the organization level rather than at the product level. The organization controls its own access environment rather than delegating that control to each individual system.
For organizations operating across multiple Monesize products, Gateway also provides the governance visibility that enterprise administration requires. A complete audit log of identity and access events, organizational membership state, connected tenants, and access relationships, all available from one place, without requiring an administrator to open each product individually.
The Monesize Ecosystem Philosophy
Monesize has always been built around the belief that related business systems should work together without being forced into a single monolithic application. Core handles finance and operations. Engage handles sales and customer relationships. Desk handles customer support and service management. Each product solves a meaningful and distinct problem. Each can be adopted independently, on its own terms, without requiring a commitment to the entire portfolio.
Gateway does not change that. Products remain independently useful, independently deployable, and independently adoptable. An organization that uses only Monesize Engage does not need Gateway to run an effective sales operation. An organization that uses only Monesize Desk does not need Gateway to manage customer support effectively.
What Gateway provides is the organizational layer for businesses that want their Monesize environment to behave as one coherent system. It is the infrastructure that allows independent products to share a common identity foundation without becoming dependent on each other or merging into something they are not.
The principle is straightforward: businesses should be able to adopt the capabilities they actually need. Gateway is the capability that makes a portfolio of Monesize products feel like one organizational environment.
What Monesize Gateway Provides
For organizations managing their Monesize environment through Gateway:
One account for every person. A single Monesize identity works across every connected product. No separate registrations, no separate credentials per product, no duplicate account management.
Centralized organizational membership. One place to understand who belongs to the organization and how that membership maps to product access.
Instant cross-product offboarding. Removing a person from the Gateway organization revokes their access across every connected Monesize product and tenant immediately.
Connected tenant registry. Link Core tenants, Engage tenants, and Desk tenants to a single organizational identity regardless of each product’s deployment model.
A durable audit record. Every significant identity and access event is logged: membership changes, tenant connections, revocation outcomes, and administrative actions.
An organizational foundation that scales. As an organization adopts additional Monesize products over time, Gateway’s organizational identity remains consistent. New products connect to an existing organizational context rather than starting from scratch.
Built to Grow With the Ecosystem
Monesize is building a portfolio of business systems, and that portfolio will continue to expand. Every future Monesize product is designed to connect to Gateway from the beginning. The organizational identity an organization establishes today will extend to every Monesize product it adopts in the future, without rebuilding membership structures, without re-provisioning users, and without managing access separately across a growing number of systems.
Gateway is not a feature of any single Monesize product. It is the institutional infrastructure of the Monesize ecosystem. Its value grows as the number of products an organization uses grows, because the operational cost of managing those products independently grows with them.
Getting Started with Monesize Gateway
